Model HF Heat Exchanger Details
Model HF fixed tube bundle heat exchangers are specially designed for higher shell pressures and are pressure rated to 250 PSI (1725 kPa) for the shell and tubes, with a maximum operating temperature of 350°F. They are manufactured using cast iron Class 30 and copper, with copper nickel options available for increased corrosion resistance.
Design & Construction
Tubes are high-temperature bonded into the headers, allowing for minimum tube pitch and a greater number of tubes. This maximizes the cooling surface area per unit volume of space.
Bonnets help maintain smooth flow with minimal impact on tube ends and tube sheets.
