C H Bull Co. and our rental hydraulic jacks helped raise the Newcastle Bridge. This is a quick video of the raising of a bridge on I-80 outside of Sacramento. The bridge was raised 18.5" in just about 4 hours to increase clearance over the freeway.
A Caltrans District 3 video explanation of the hydraulic jacking system used to raise the vertical clearance of the overcrossings in the Raise80 project, which includes lifting nine bridges in southern Placer County to the federal standard of 16 feet, 6 inches.

C H Bull Co. was once again front and center at the Northern California Facilities Expo held on September 25th and 26th at the Santa Clara Convention Center.
In the show we had a Genie Aerial Work Platform lift, a lift from Reechcraft, scaffolding from Lobo Systems, elevated walkways from Erectastep.
Fall protection items from DBI/Sala were also featured. Rounding out our display of products were different types of cranes, hoists, and lifting devices.
Andy Bull taught a class on "Basic Fall Protection" for the show that was enjoyed by many in attendance.
